"Challenge and Passion! The Thrilling Moments of Adventure on Ulleungdo"

Everyone, I just returned from the ‘Dare to Dive Ulleung’ 

event on the dream-like island of Ulleungdo. 

Just hearing the name gets your heart racing, right?

 I’m excited to share the exhilarating moments from this 4-day event, 

filled with the energy and passion of youth. 

Let’s dive into the stories of our adventure on Ulleungdo!

### Day 1: The Start of Excitement and Nerves

On the first day, all the participants gathered 

at the Ulla Welcome House in Jeodong. The turnout was larger than expected, 

and everyone seemed thrilled. After exchanging greetings 

and seeing the anticipation in everyone’s eyes,

 it felt like we were all united by a shared purpose.

We began a 13km trekking course from the Welcome House, 

passing through Naesujeon Observatory, Seokpo Store, 

Jangjae, and finally arriving at Naribunji Basin. 

Walking through Ulleungdo’s stunning natural scenery was healing in itself. 

The view of the dense forests merging with the open sea was 

beyond what any photo could capture; I wanted to etch it into my mind.

When we finally reached Naribunji Basin, everyone celebrated 

with a sense of pride and accomplishment. 

A total of 62 people completed the long journey 

on the first day, feeling the exhaustion and fulfillment only travel can bring

### Day 2: Rock Climbing, Hiking, and Music

On the second day, we each received our own set of challenges.

 I decided to tackle the famous rock walls of Ulleungdo. 

Though the rocks were rougher and sharper than expected, 

the thrill made every step worthwhile. As I climbed with 15 others,

 I felt myself overcoming my fears with each step up the rugged 

Ulleungdo rocks. Isn’t that the beauty of outdoor activities?

After climbing, we hiked the three major peaks of Ulleungdo, 

each of us going at our own pace. Meanwhile, 

17 others chose trail running, sprinting through nature. 

We were all challenging our limits in our own ways.

As night fell, we were treated to a special live performance.

 The music echoed through the darkened Ulleungdo, 

leaving a lasting impression as everyone shared the magic 

of nature and sound together. Even now,

 I can still feel the breeze of Ulleungdo and the melody from that night.

### Day 3: An Unexpected Break

On the third day, unexpected weather changes led to a ferry cancellation, 

altering our schedule. Although it was disappointing, 

it gave us time to explore freely. Some explored Ulleungdo, 

tasting local delicacies, while others strolled along the beach,

 enjoying the leisure. I made the most of this spontaneous time. 

This unplanned break somehow felt all the more thrilling.

### Final Day: Bittersweet Farewells and New Excitement

The final day arrived. After wrapping up our activities, 

we did a headcount and prepared for the journey back. 

Over the four days on Ulleungdo, we shared invaluable moments 

of challenge and achievement. I think these experiences

 will stay with us as courage and treasured memories.

### Ulleungdo’s Charm and the Desire to Return

The ‘Dare to Dive Ulleung’ event wasn’t just about travel;

 it was an opportunity to affirm our youthful energy and embrace challenges. 

Discovering Ulleungdo’s hidden charms and bonding 

with everyone there held special meaning for me. 

Ulleungdo will always be a unique place in my heart, 

and I can’t wait to return and continue challenging myself.
